I dug this project out of my UFOs yesterday. It had been in that pile a very long time. I don't remember anymore when I started it. The blanket is 4 mitred squares, oriented so the center lines ray out. I then found an edging in Nicky Epstein's "Knitting On the Edge" called "Baby Tears" that was a 4 row easily memorized repeat and used the opposite colors as I went around the blanket. The yarn is Caron Simply Soft and Simply Soft Brites. The edging was done on size 9 double points and the squares were done on either 8 or 9s (it has been so long that I don't even remember).
